Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Interior Architecture, Res. Asst. Başak Lâle won the right to participate in April 15 World Art Day International Online Group Exhibition with her two photographs titled "Mass Production and Intersection". Res. Asst. Başak Lale, in her two exhibited photographs, recreates the perception of space by revising the photographs of both architecture and life that she took during her field studies in Fatih region, Istanbul with the mirroring technique on different axes. The details of the exhibition held within the scope of Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Fine Arts were as follows:
“The exhibition, organised with the open call of Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Department, brought together artists from many parts of the world. 104 artists from 9 countries including New Zealand, Egypt, Macedonia, Germany, Cuba, Peru, Bulgaria, India, Argentina, and Türkiye participated in the exhibition held under the name of World Art Day International Painting Exhibition. Artists from different cultures who produce artistic productions from different cultures came together in an online space.”

Res. Asst. Başak Lâle commented on her participation in the exhibition as follows:
"First of all, it is very exciting for me to take part in the 15 April World Art Day International Online Group Exhibition organised by Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Fine Arts. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this organisation, which includes unique works from many countries. The two photographs titled "Mass Production" and "Intersection" are the revised versions of two typical images of spaces that I encountered in Fatih during my fieldwork. In both of them, we can see the traces of human and usage in the sameness. By mirroring these photographs, I aimed to reconstruct both the spaces and the experiences of those spaces."
