The Department of Graphic Design at Istanbul Gelisim University’s Faculty of Fine Arts marked April 27 Design Day with a meaningful event. Organized to provide a platform for students to showcase their creative work, the event turned into a group exhibition featuring packaging design projects developed by second-year students throughout the academic term. The exhibition, hosted on the Artsteps platform, will remain accessible until May 15, offering design enthusiasts and professionals the opportunity to explore student projects online.
Such events are highly valuable for students, allowing them to refine their design skills and enhance their professional portfolios. Exhibitions provide students with the chance to make their creative processes visible, receive feedback from the industry, and engage with the broader design community. In a dynamic and ever-evolving field like graphic design, these kinds of experiences contribute significantly to students' professional development.
The Department of Graphic Design at Istanbul Gelisim University’s Faculty of Fine Arts regularly organizes hands-on events that complement theoretical education, providing students with comprehensive training. This particular exhibition not only offered students a platform to express their creativity freely but also gave visitors a chance to engage with fresh perspectives on graphic design through student work.
We would like to thank the faculty members of the Department of Graphic Design at Istanbul Gelisim University’s Faculty of Fine Arts for supporting students' development and making this meaningful event possible.
