Research Assistant Dilara Mataracı successfully completes proficiency in art program

Research Assistant Dilara Mataracı, a faculty member of the Department of Graphic Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) at Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), has successfully completed the Proficiency in Art program at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSUFA), Institute of Graduate Education, Basic Education Main Art Branch, Basic Art and Design Department. Advancing her academic and artistic career, Mataracı has taken her research on art theory and practices to the next level.

During the Proficiency in Art process, Mataracı conducted an extensive study within the framework of fundamental art and design principles. Her work was not focused on graphic design but was rather a formal analysis of the use of cloud imagery in artworks, presented as an artistic thesis. This research provided an in-depth examination of the visual and conceptual meanings of the cloud form in art history, its role within composition, and its transformation in artistic contexts. By exploring the aesthetic and formal functions of clouds in artworks, Mataracı developed a unique perspective within the scope of fundamental art and design principles.
In addition to her academic research, Mataracı has been actively engaged in artistic production processes. Adopting an interdisciplinary approach, she has carried out studies on the relationship between form and composition in art. Her research and artistic thesis contribute not only to art theory but also serve as a significant resource in the field of artistic analysis methodologies.
With this achievement, Mataracı adds valuable expertise to the academic staff of the Department of Graphic Design at Istanbul Gelişim University. She will continue to share her knowledge and experience with her students. As the Istanbul Gelişim University community, we congratulate Research Assistant Dilara Mataracı on this significant academic success and wish her continued achievements in her work.
