Res. Ast. Zeynep Abacı's thoughts: The gala, which was held by the "Film Workshops" within the scope of the "social responsibility project", was held at the "Historical Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Complex" within the framework of the protocol signed between Payas Municipality and Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Fine Arts. The historical texture of the complex, which has been carefully prepared for the gala night, is in a position that embraces the whole Hatay right as a public space that includes the past, present and future. After the opening speech of the Payas mayor, Project Consultant Prof. Dr. Nail Öztaş, Project Coordinator Prof. Dr. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp, Project Coordinator and Producer Assoc. Dr. Nagihan Çakar Bikiç, Workshop Coordinator Director/Lecturer. See. Ahmet Bikiç, Director of Press Relations Dr. Bilent Deyirmenci, from the Reji team, Res. See. Eda Çekemci, Enes Dalgıç, Polat Bakırtaş and Film Workshops Designer Res. See. Ayten Bengisu Cansever was given plaques. Antakya Civilizations Choir gave a fascinating concert after the documentary filmed by the students attending the workshop. The choir, which reflects the spirit of the place in the best way, sang the works that have become symbols of Turkish folk melodies. The gala night, which took place in a historical atmosphere, took its place in the memories as just one of the memorable success stories of "Film Workshops".
