Res. Asst. Dr. Ceren İren, a faculty member at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Graphic Design, successfully represented Türkiye by participating in the Art Circle International Art Workshop held in Slovenia. Her works, inspired by nature and insect behavior, drew significant attention during the event organized in collaboration with the Türkiye-Slovenia Consulate.
at Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design, took part in the Art Circle International Art Workshop held in Slovenia during the Spring term of 2025. The event brought together numerous artists from different countries, and İren attended as the official representative of Türkiye.
Throughout the workshop, İren created artworks inspired by nature and specifically the behavioral patterns of insects. Her works were exhibited at the end of the event and received great interest for their conceptual depth and original artistic language. Her unique creative approach, developed through close observation of nature, was among the most noteworthy projects of the workshop.
The event took place in various cultural and nature-integrated venues across Slovenia. Res. Asst. Dr. Ceren İren was hosted in collaboration with the Türkiye-Slovenia Consulate during the week-long program, where artists engaged in both the creation process and cultural exchange with peers from around the world, fostering international dialogue.
