Prof. Dr. Aysun CANÇAT participated in the “Spring Art Exhibition” with five artworks

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Graphic Design (GRA) faculty member Prof. Dr. Aysun CANÇAT participated in the international group exhibition titled “Spring Art Exhibition,” organized by Art in White Gallery, with five artworks.

Held between April 16–19, 2026, at Kemer Country Club Exhibition Hall, the exhibition brought together artists from different disciplines and presented contemporary art productions to art enthusiasts. Organized with international participation, the event featured works produced in the fields of painting, graphic arts, and contemporary art.

Aiming to unite different forms of artistic expression under one platform, “Spring Art Exhibition” attracted attention with its interdisciplinary approach to contemporary art practices. Within the scope of the exhibition, artworks by artists from different countries were presented to visitors, creating a cultural and artistic interaction environment between artists and art audiences.

The five artworks exhibited by Prof. Dr. Aysun CANÇAT were well received by visitors for their approach addressing the aesthetic and intellectual dimensions of art. Bringing together academic production and artistic practice, the works contributed to the exhibition’s multidimensional artistic atmosphere.

Organized by Art in White Gallery, the exhibition aims to introduce artists’ works to wider audiences, increase the visibility of contemporary art productions, and strengthen international artistic interaction. As part of a periodically organized exhibition series planned throughout the year, the event brings together productions from different artistic disciplines on the same platform.

The participation of Prof. Dr. Aysun CANÇAT in an international art organization with her artworks contributed to increasing the visibility of the artistic and design-oriented productions of Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Fine Arts academics on national and international platforms. The exhibition stood out as a significant cultural event strengthening the relationship between academic knowledge and artistic production.
