Following the announcement of the university entrance exam (YKS) results, the excitement of the preference period continues at full speed. In this crucial phase, Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) has initiated its Preference and Promotion Days to support prospective students in making informed choices for their academic future.
The Graphic Design Department, under the Faculty of Fine Arts—one of IGU’s most prominent faculties—has made special preparations to engage with prospective students face-to-face and to introduce the department in all its dimensions during the 2024 preference period. From July 25 to 27, the department’s esteemed academic staff will be present at the Eket Fair to provide comprehensive information about both the university and the department to prospective students and their families.
In addition, at the promotional booth located in the J Block Tower at IGU’s Avcılar Campus, the academic team from the Graphic Design Department will present detailed information on student projects, alumni success stories, and career opportunities. Candidates will have the chance to get answers to their questions directly from the faculty and experience the university environment firsthand.
The Head of the Graphic Design Department and faculty members emphasized that these events are not only informative but also a valuable opportunity to convey the culture of the university and the department.
