2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Term Academic Board Meeting was held with the participation of, Faculty of Fine Arts Dean Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp, Deputy Dean Member Murat Doğan, Head of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department Aslı Albayrak, Head of Graphic Design Department Metin Kuş, Interior Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environment Design and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) Department Head Zerrin Funda Ürük, Head of Communication and Design Department Aslı Kasar Head of Radio, Television and Cinema Department and all academic staff on February 15, 2022 at 11:00 in theTUSI Conference Hall.
Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, started his speech by expressing his happiness for moving to the new campus of the faculty. Aydınalp, who gave information and reminders about the teaching of the courses in the new term, continued his speech by wishing that the spring term would be beneficial for all academic staff and students. Then, he moved on to the presentation that includes the current data of Istanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Fine Arts.
Prof. Dr. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp made a presentation on the number of students in the departments, the introduction of the new academic staff joining the faculty, the number of students coming to the departments with horizontal/vertical transfer, guest students, the number of scientific publications by the academic staff, social responsibility projects, workshops and interviews carried out by the departments, TAYF International Short Film Festival, exhibitions by faculty members, student exhibitions, a virtual campus tour of the Faculty of Fine Arts, promotional films about the departments, trainings for instructors in order to increase the quality of education, cooperation with high schools and winter school education. She talked about topics such as Faculty of Fine Arts Monthly e-bulletin, student handbook and student orientation handbook, Faculty of Fine Arts website, social media accounts of the faculty, ART/icle: Journal of Art and Design and planned competitions.
After her presentation, Aydınalp expressed her happiness because of the high quality and success of the scientific studies and projects carried out by our academic staff, although it is an area that stands out mostly with its exhibitions of fine arts, and thanked all academic staff for the positive increase in the data of the faculty.
The meeting ended after the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp, presented her wishes and wishes for the spring term.
