Important Representative of Expressionist Painting: Prof. Dr. Ismet Cavusoglu

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) Acting Dean Prof. Dr. You can find the details of the news about İsmet Çavuşoğlu and his works in Art and Design Newspaper.

prof. Dr. İsmet Çavuşoğlu is a colorist painter. It creates a color dynamism. With an attitude open to the new, the forward color-form dialogue stands as the main vein of his painting. One of the main points of the stained harmony paintings. When the richness of color, spotty harmony and dynamism are combined with the variety of materials, a unique aesthetic structure emerges. İsmet Çavuşoğlu's aesthetic exists by gaining prominence within this dynamic structure.

expressionist
One of the artist's works.

When his art is examined from past to present, both the subjects he deals with and the pictorial plane have always developed towards a new and dynamic structure, and most importantly, he has made all this change within the framework of his own personal style. While the abstract-concrete dialogue in his paintings progresses to a superstructure point, the underlying phenomenon is the reality of color, form and composition. A whole pictorial structure also creates itself on the lyrical plane.
