Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Department accepts its students every year with a special talent exam. Before the new academic year, Head of Graphic Design Department Assoc. Dr. Metin Kuş made a statement about the students who will take the exam:
“The Special Talent Entrance Exam is currently an exam that allows us to understand your potential in this field, rather than an exam that requires you to be able to draw very well. Therefore, a candidate who can draw well is more likely to win than a candidate who has never drawn but is willing to win, and it is possible to pass the exam. The first year of our education consists of Basic Art Education and Basic Drawing courses, and in these courses, all the basic drawing knowledge and skills required for the field are gained. After taking these courses, we expect our students to draw at the levels required by the field. Therefore, we welcome all students who are interested in this field to our department.
All candidates who are high school graduates have the chance to take the aptitude test and study at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Department for four years. It is possible for our candidate students to attend the 'Special Talent Entrance Exam', in which their interests and wishes are examined in the department and the field, and if they pass the exam, they can receive Graphic Design education, one of the most important communication fields of today and the future.
