Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuri Sezer’s associate professorship appointment process has been completed
Dr. Nuri Sezer, a faculty member of the Department of Graphic Design at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), has been appointed to the associate professorship position—a significant milestone in his academic career. Sezer’s long-standing artistic and academic experience gains new momentum with this appointment.
Dr. Nuri Sezer, a faculty member of the Department of Graphic Design at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), has achieved an important milestone in his academic journey by being appointed to the position of Associate Professor. Having distinguished himself for many years through both his artistic productions and contributions to education, Sezer plans to continue his work in the fields of art and design with renewed strength under this new title.
With over 45 years of experience in the field of graphic design, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuri Sezer is a prominent figure who has made significant contributions to the development of design education in Türkiye. Throughout his teaching career, Sezer has inspired numerous students, bringing together his unique artistic vision, experimental approach, and symmetry-based formal compositions in various exhibitions. His recent retrospective exhibition, “YaşArt,” held at the Istanbul Gelisim University Art Gallery, drew considerable attention by combining his professional and educational experiences in the arts.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuri Sezer’s academic advancement is not only a personal achievement but also a proud moment for the Faculty of Fine Arts at Istanbul Gelisim University. With his interdisciplinary approach to art and design, Sezer continues to guide his students both theoretically and practically. His ongoing and future projects within the faculty are expected to further enrich the academic and creative environment.
