The teaching staff of the Graphic Design Department at İstanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), continues to successfully represent our university on international art platforms. Assoc. Prof. Aysun Cançat, a faculty member of our department, took part in the "12th UNIMUZED Balkans Printed Exhibition 25," which is one of the important art events of the Balkan countries.
This prestigious exhibition, which brings together works produced with printmaking techniques by artists from various countries, met with art lovers this year at the Ramada Hotel in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Assoc. Prof. Aysun Cançat's distinctive printmaking work, which reflects her unique artistic vision and drew considerable attention, received great interest from exhibition visitors and the international art community.
Held between October 21 - October 26, 2025, this international event made significant contributions to both the personal development of our artist and the global recognition of our university. Assoc. Prof. Aysun Cançat's participation in such platforms is a source of pride, as it carries the artistic and academic vision of the Faculty of Fine Arts into the international arena.
