Within the scope of the events organized by Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA, Department of Graphic Design (GRA), a talk titled "The New Language of Advertising with Artificial Intelligence" was held with the participation of Meryem Baltacı, the owner of MAW Agency and one of the experienced names in the sector. Students and faculty members showed great interest in the event held at the Firnas Auditorium on April 10th.
During the talk, Meryem Baltacı shared how artificial intelligence technologies are reshaping the advertising ecosystem with current examples. Stating that traditional advertising methods are evolving through digital transformation, Baltacı drew attention to the speed and creative opportunities provided by AI in data analysis, targeting, and content creation processes.
Addressing technological developments that closely concern the professional future of graphic design students, the event discussed how artificial intelligence should be positioned not as a competitor but as a tool that feeds creativity. Agency owner Meryem Baltacı emphasized that future designers' mastery of these digital tools will increase their competitiveness in the sector.
