 2024-2025 academic year fall semester academic board meeting held!


Istanbul Gelişim University (İGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), 2024-2025 Academic Year Fall Semester Academic Board Meeting was held on Wednesday, September 25, at 13:30, in the K Block Firnas Auditorium, under the presidency of the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp, with the participation of academic and administrative staff.


The 2024-2025 Academic Year Fall Semester academic board meeting began with the participation of full-time academic staff and hourly paid academic staff in the Faculty of Fine Arts, with the speech of the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp.

Prof. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp delivered the opening speech of the meeting and conveyed her wishes for the new term to the participants. Aydınalp, who started her speech by evaluating the past terms, said that the Faculty of Fine Arts has expanded and grown, and that approximately 2 thousand students are educated, and continued her words by talking about the events held at the faculty, social responsibility projects, student/teaching staff exhibitions and academic studies.

In the second part of the academic board meeting, which saw intense participation from the academic staff and administrative staff of the Faculty of Fine Arts, the assistant deans and all department heads within the Faculty of Fine Arts were given the floor one by one and asked to convey the department goals and strategies determined for the new term.

While the vice deans provided information about what to do in case of possible problems and offered their good wishes for the new term, the department heads made an evaluation of the past term about their departments and talked about their plans for the new term. In the new term plans, new elective courses, events, interviews, workshops, competitions, collaborations with the sector, exhibitions and book studies attracted attention. In addition, information was exchanged on developments within the faculty, academic activities and projects. The meeting ended after the new faculty members introduced themselves.

We wish the 2024-2025 Academic Year Fall Semester to be healthy and successful for all our students and academic members.
