In order to graduate students who have completed their maximum education period, starting from the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, pursuant to subparagraph (c) of Article 44 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and the General Assembly of YÖK dated 27 September 2021 and E-75850160-104.01.01.01-73154. With the Decision No., two additional exam rights for theoretical courses and two additional semesters for applied courses were given without benefiting from student rights. All students who have completed the maximum education period, valid from the fall semester of the 2017-2018 academic year, can benefit from these rights, which are explained below.
The application deadline is Monday, January 31, 2022. Applications after this date will not be accepted, the student will be deemed to have waived these rights and their records will be deleted.
Students will submit their applications to the dean's office.
Two Additional Exam Rights for Theoretical Courses
All students who have completed their maximum duration will be given two additional exams in case they apply for the theoretical courses they have failed, absent and have never taken before.
Those who apply until 30 November 2021 will use these two additional exam rights in the 2021-2022 academic year Fall semester final and make-up exam periods.
Students who apply between December 1, 2021 and January 31, 2022 can also use their right to two additional exams in the final and make-up exams at the end of the 2021-2022 academic year Spring semester.
Right to Attend Two Semesters Additional Time for Application Weighted Courses
Two additional semesters are given to students for applied and application-oriented courses. Students can register for these courses until 10 November 2021.
Students who apply between November 10, 2021 and January 31, 2022 can use their rights in the following Spring and Fall semesters.
Unenrollment from the University
Students who do not apply until January 31, 2022, and students who cannot reduce the number of failed courses to five courses at the end of the additional exam and the additional period will be deregistered from the university.
Course Registration and Exam Fee
Students are required to pay 400.00 TL per credit/hour for additional exams, additional time and internship.
