Students who cannot take the midterm exams, which will be held on November 20-28, due to an excuse, can take the make-up exam if they are approved by the board of directors, provided that they apply in accordance with the provisions of the relevant article of the IGU Associate and Undergraduate Education-Teaching and Exam Regulations.
“Article 25:(4)Amendment:OG-13/6/2018-30450) Students who cannot take the midterm exam due to their excuses apply to the relevant dean's office/directorship with a petition within one week at the latest after the expiry of their excuse, provided that they document their excuses. Students who are absent due to the excuse period are not entitled to make-up exams. Make-up exams are held on the dates specified in the academic calendar for students whose excuses are accepted by the relevant administrative board. There is no make-up exam for the final exams.
(5)(Amendment:OJ-13/6/2018-30450) The medical reports taken for the make-up exam due to health problems must be obtained from full-fledged state or university hospitals. After the report hour, the exams taken by the report student during the reporting period are cancelled. Exams taken before the report time will not be cancelled.”
For the students whose excuses are valid for the students whose exam times coincide, those who are approved by the Board of Directors can take the make-up exam, provided that they submit a petition.
