 Spring Semester Design Studio Juries Took Place!


Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English), held the spring semester final juries for Design Studio II and Design Studio IV courses.


Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English), held the final jury for the Design Studio IV course on June 13, 2024, in room 1205 of K Block, under the leadership of Asst. Prof. Enver Tatlısu. The jury members included the Head of the Department, Asst. Prof. İbrahim Erol, Lecturer Serenay İnceoğlu, and Lecturer Cansu Sözer. The final jury for the Design Studio II course also took place on June 13, 2024, in room 1401 of K Block, with jury members Asst. Prof. İbrahim Erol, Lecturer Serenay İnceoğlu, and Lecturer Cansu Sözer. Students presented their projects in turn and were evaluated by the jury members.
 
The projects were meticulously examined by the jury members, and each student received detailed feedback. This feedback allowed students to review and improve their projects comprehensively. The opportunity to analyze their projects in greater depth enhanced the students' ability to integrate their academic knowledge with practical applications. Throughout the process, the feedback provided to the students helped them better understand the strengths and weaknesses of their projects.

This evaluation process enabled students to gain valuable insights into industry dynamics and requirements. The experience and expertise of the jury members provided students with the opportunity to see the impact of their projects in real-world applications. Based on the feedback they received, students were able to re-evaluate their projects and achieve more effective and feasible outcomes. This process offered an important learning experience in terms of how academic knowledge can be applied in practice.
