Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı made the following statements about the paper presentation:

“In recording studios, acoustics are a vital element that determines the quality of sound and forms the basis of every recording. For architects, acoustics increase the functionality and aesthetics of the space on the other hand for musicians, it is a critical factor that determines the clarity of the sound and the quality of the performance. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the acoustic properties and acoustic design of sound recording studios selected from Turkey and the world and to reveal the features that should be taken into consideration in recording studios. In the study, a comparative analysis of sound recording studios selected from Turkey and the world was made, and based on this comparison, a literature review was conducted to determine the criteria to be considered in acoustic performance in recording studios. The focus of the study is on various criteria such as acoustic reflection and absorption, external noise control, frequency response, acoustic insulation, floating flooring and customized room design. In the light of this evaluation, the aim of the study is to emphasize the importance of each component to optimize the acoustic design of recording studios and to reveal the development potential of the studios towards achieving appropriate sound quality.”

We congratulate Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı and wish him success in his academic studies.
