“Assumptions of Graphic Design Definitions Course” organized by Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) Graphic Design Department and Erasmus+ Coordinatorship, Assoc. Dr. Moderated by Metin Kuş and Prof. It was held under the mentorship of Jose Saraiva.


The lesson prepared and presented by prof Jose Saraiva lasted about two hours. Sharing the presentation she prepared to introduce herself and the university (ESAD Collage of Art and Design) with the students, Saraiva gave information about the history of the art of illustration. Referring to the history of the art of printing and Gutenberg, the academic emphasized the importance of printing arts in fine arts education. As part of the course, which continued with the intense interest and attention of the participants, Saraiva asked the students questions about graphic design. He shared information and visuals on how graphic design education is carried out at ESAD Collage of Art and Design and how illustration techniques are applied in the relevant sections.
 
 
 
Towards the end of the lecture, he ended his presentation by mentioning that he had visited the historical points of Istanbul and was very impressed by the city's past. Head of Graphic Design Department Assoc. Dr. After Metin Kuş's speech of thanks and plaque presentation, Prof. Jose Saraiva's "Assumptions of Graphic Design Definitions Lesson" has ended.
