Fanz Finance is a platform where NFT works are exhibited and sold, as well as a guide with informative articles about the relationship between contemporary art and NFT. The platform, which sheds light on artists who are interested in NFT but do not know how to proceed, continues to support its artists on various Discord channels in order to increase their visibility.
Res. Ast.. Zeynep Abacı shared her views on the contemporary art scene and NFT as follows:
“The need to say a new word in today's art world and the evolution of exhibition methods make a noticeable difference. The Covid-19 pandemic has the biggest role in this transformation, from the artist's production styles to the role of the buyer, from the collector's vision to the diversity of exhibition spaces. Although the idea of museums and galleries being open to viewers online dates back to before the pandemic, it is possible to say that the global epidemic accelerated this idea. The exhibitions, which can be visited independently of time and place, offer a continuous and uninterrupted space to the art buyer. NFT, on the other hand, promises the artist a world where their rights are protected and their works can be seen and accessed globally. For example, the artist can deliver his digital or phygital works directly to the collector without the need for an intermediary. Unlike physical auctions or galleries sales, each time the work changes hands, the artist can get a certain amount of share. From this point of view, it is possible to say that the NFT universe offers a more democratic environment for art producers. I think that the NFT revolution motivates artists because of positive situations such as not receiving high commissions from the sales of works, each work being certified and unique, and the visibility of the works exhibited on the internet reaching global dimensions.”
