Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) Graphic Design Department Instructor The exhibition opening cocktail was held under the curatorship of its member, Painter Ahmet Özel.
The artist-curator Dr. Instructor Member Ahmet Özel explained the purpose of the exhibition in his concept text as follows:
“The way that singular energies multiply each other and advance themselves individually and socially lies in the magical relationship and communication created by encounters. Encounters are energy stations that chart the course of life. Journeys that start from here multiply and form life and the meaning of life. The complex, organic interactions experienced on these journeys energize us and we multiply. In a sense, for the artist, every encounter is the nourishment area of his own creation, his emotional world. This exhibition aims not only for the artists to encounter each other, but also for the person to encounter himself through his creation. The cyclical energy release, which can be described as the 'mirror' effect, recreates and sanctifies life and all the values that give it meaning. The effect it creates is the reflection of the image-sound-emotion reaching the opposite shore, 'ECHO' is water.
