"Biosecurity and Bioterrorism Symposium" organized by Istanbul Rumeli University, Faculty of Health Sciences Dean's Office and Directorate of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Application Technology and Research Center was held on Monday, January 31st. The symposium, which started online at 11:00 on the Zoom platform, lasted about 7 hours. Organized online, the symposium was held in 3 sessions. As a result of the sessions, a total of 9 presentations were made by academicians who are experts in their fields.
Bioterrorism is a situation that involves the use of biological elements to directly or indirectly affect people's life and health and has serious consequences. The information about the presentations made at the symposium is as follows:
