From the summary of the book chapter:

"The rapid development of technology, the ability of people to adapt to this speed, and the developing and transforming consumer preferences have forced manufacturers to implement many innovative actions, from different marketing strategies to raise the quality of service. These emerging technology-oriented situations are the research topic of many scientists today. In this context, it is known that this change and transformation manifest itself in the tourism industry and many related sectors within the service sector, such that the target consumer group has changed, has become a mobile device user, mobile marketing strategies and related applications, the service supply offered. It is being developed and changed day by day. These developments in information and communication technology have started to shape society in general and have led it to adapt to online life. Technological unemployment or technological dysfunction? The technology acceptance model, developed by Fred D. Davis in 1986 to explain the acceptance and rejection of the use of information systems in the business environment, was put forward as an improved model for the solution of these problems. The purpose of the model is to explain the adaptation factors that can be generalized to many technological innovations and applied to their use (Zeren, 2014: 1). In this section, the technology acceptance model and tourism interaction are revealed, and it is hoped that it will contribute to the existing technological applications and new applications to be integrated into the field.

We congratulate its member asst. Prof. Dr.  Emre Aykaç and wish him continued academic success.
