  IGU FFA Attended the "Alumni Meeting" Event!


The "Alumni Meeting" event, organized to strengthen the ties between Istanbul Gelişim University students and graduates, to encourage experience sharing, and to provide guidance in their post-graduation career journeys, took place on Friday, December 22, at J Block Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall. While this meaningful event was organized by the Alumni and Members Coordinatorship, the Faculty of Fine Arts also participated in the event.


Istanbul Gelişim University offered the opportunity to meet with its graduates and share their past education experiences and career successes. IGU FFA took part in the event with its academic and administrative staff, as well as graduates and students.

“IGU Remembered the Past and Planned the Future with its Graduates!”

The event, which took place at Block J Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall, started with the speeches of Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin. Prof. Dr. Şahin explained the 15-year history of the university and emphasized the transformations and achievements achieved in the last year. He shared his future goals with graduates and students.

“Ties Between Alumni Are Strengthening, Becoming a Source of Inspiration!”

The Alumni Meeting event allowed participating graduates to share their experiences about their academic and professional journeys. This platform aimed to provide students with the chance to be inspired by the sectoral experiences of the graduates and learn about their careers, while also creating a strong network among the graduates.

The event aimed to bring together graduates of Istanbul Gelişim University and strengthen the ties between the university and its graduates. The meeting, where graduates shared about post-graduation difficulties, success stories, and sectoral developments, became a source of motivation for the students.

"IGU Alumni Came Together with Theater and Conversation!"

Following the speeches of Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin, the event continued with a theater play prepared by the theater club. Graduates had the opportunity to chat with each other by registering during the event. The event shed light on the student's future professional journeys by providing participants with information exchange, mentoring, and collaboration opportunities.

After this productive meeting, the event ended by strengthening the ties between the graduates.
