Dear Students,
 
     We’re acting in accordance with the artistic consciousness of our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who expressed the importance of fine arts with the following quote: “Achieving success in fine arts means achieving success in all revolutions. The People who cannot achieve success in fine arts, unfortunately, will remain destitute of existing in the civilizational area with the title of a higher individual.”, and we consider you and the art as indispensable elements of the future. It should be noted that a society can only achieve the contemporary civilization level with the value put on arts and artists. At Gelisim University, Faculty of Fine Arts where we act with this understanding, we’re going to enjoy creating the beautiful with the illimitable power of art together with our valued students and we are going to learn the history and nature of the beautiful on the factory floor.
 
     Since the date of our foundation as the Faculty of Fine Arts, we considered sole doctrines as the biggest barrier before original and creative thinking and we have pertinaciously continued our studies to remove this idea from our minds. By refusing the idea that our schools remains only as an educational institution with the support of our faculty, we made  our university one of the most preferable 3 universities in Turkey. We trusted that to study at Gelisim shall mean to adapt the developments and changes, we crossed our borders and we illuminated our way so as to be ranked among the most distinguished educational literatures with our seven departments.
 
     We achieve everything that we realize by ensuring that our students are raised as free-minded, enlightened, creative with original thinking, productive, sensitive, aware of the values and principles of the modern world art and qualified individuals. In accordance with the qualified graduate profile that we’ve been targeting on this way, we’re working with our academic team committed to the principles and values of the modern world art, being each one of them pretty valuable and successful in their own fields. In addition to our academic team, we prepare our students for the professional life with a solid and well-equipped background through rich course contents, application centers, guest instructors, overseas educational opportunities, minor and transfer rights, workshops, extracurricular trainings and various other activities.
 
     And we know that the academic programs that we carry out with a visionary point of view apart from standard educational understanding will not only raise qualified individuals that will shape the future but also our institution will make its mark in the international arena for its educational structure. We’re going to support the studies of our students through collaborations, agreements and various projects and we’re going to become a part of a great network by supporting the creation of worldwide projects.
