Mustafa Dallı visited kindergarten and met with studentsthe for the presentation of “Colors and Sustainability”, which is the first stage of the social responsibility project carried out jointly by the Interior Architecture and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (Tr&Eng) Departments with Seyrantepe Masal Ağacı Kindergarten.
“Colors and Sustainability”
In the first stage of the event, which took place with the presentation of Minel Kurtuluş, the colors were explained to the students. The presentation, in which main and secondary colors, contrasting colors and colors from nature were discussed, continued with the enthusiastic participation of the students. At this stage of the event, subjects such as the importance of primary and secondary colors, how they are formed, color tones, and how colors come together were discussed. The subject was reinforced by asking students to give examples.
Then, in the second stage of the presentation, the concepts of sustainability for children were discussed. For sustainability, in a way that children can understand; Topics such as “What can be done and what should be avoided” were discussed. At this stage, the importance of the concept of sustainability and how the world is under threat were mentioned, and the importance of subjects such as recycling, environmental pollution, green nature, and love of the environment was tried to be explained to the children. By watching informative cartoons about the subjects, children's interest in the subjects was increased and their comprehension was reinforced through visual communication. After watching the cartoon, the presentation ended.
“We Will Continue Our Work”
Lecturer Minel Kurtuluş, sosyal sorumluluk projesinin ilk aşamasının ardından projenin diğer aşamaları için gerekli bilgilerin verildiğini belirtti. Genç nesillerin dünyaya bakış açısı oluşturması gerektiğine değinen Ercan, insanların küçük yaşlardan itibaren duyarlı bireyler olarak yetişmelerine katkıda bulunmaları gerektiğini vurguladı. Daha duyarlı, daha bilinçli, her alanda sürdürülebilirliği benimseyen ve çevre bilinci yüksek bir nesil yetiştirmenin önemine vurgu yaparak, bu yöndeki çalışmaların devam edeceğini belirtti. Projede emeği geçen tüm öğretim elemanlarına ve Masal Ağacı Anaokuluna teşekkürlerini iletti ve projenin ileriki aşamaları için duyduğu heyecanı vurguladı.
