Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Interior Architecture Department Research Assistant Eliz Mutlu presented her paper titled "Evaporating Borders from Physical to Virtual, Virtual to Physical: Pop-up Stores" at the “I. Interdisciplinary Art, Design and Social Sciences International Symposium”.
The paper they prepared together with Eskişehir Technical University Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Interior Architecture faculty member Assoc. Prof. Özge Kandemir draws attention to the structure of Pop-up Stores, which are an example of "Pop-up Places", which are described as a product of the changing social structure, that eliminates the boundaries between physical and virtual. In her presentation, Ress. Asst Eliz Mutlu touched upon topics such as the concept of Pop-up, Pop-up Places, Features of Pop-up Places and Pop-up Stores. At the end of the session attended by a total of 35 people, Mutlu answered the questions of the participants about Pop-up Spaces. A part of the summary of the paper is as follows:
