The Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Club, founded by the students of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, has started its efforts to increase professional awareness and support innovative perspectives. Aiming to transform the stereotyped perceptions regarding the disciplines of interior architecture and environmental design, the club aims to be a platform that will directly contribute to the professional development of students.
The new address of academic and sectoral meetings
Brought to life under the consultancy of Lect. Esra Büyükemir Karagöz and the founding presidency of Hilal Gevrek, the management and member roster of the club include; Sudenaz Pehlivanlar, Berfin Sönmez, Ece Saliha Çap, Ebrar Hüma Aydoğan, Sude Aksoy, Çağla Yıldırım, İrem Çakır, İlayda Yapıcı, Sıla Ergüder, Dilara Gülpınar, Sedef Nur Özcan, Feyza Şeyban, Kübra Ezan Alkan, and Şevval Göre.
The club plans to closely follow academic and sectoral developments and bring department students together with experts in the field.
Interdisciplinary production will be encouraged
Aiming to offer both theoretical and practical knowledge to participants through events, workshops, and sectoral talks to be organized, the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Club draws attention with its structure that encourages interdisciplinary production. It is aimed to develop projects that will contribute not only to students' academic lives but also to their visions.
