Gökçe Uzgören attended the training titled "Nature Based Solutions for Resilient Cities" organized within the scope of MARUF '21 (Marmara Urban Forum '21).
Gökçe Uzgören, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), at MARUF '21 (Marmara Urban Forum 2021) organized by Marmara Municipalities Union on October 3, 2021, "Nature Based for Resilient Cities" He participated in the training titled "Nature Based Solutions for Resilient Cities".
Nature-based solutions (DÇ); These are cost-effective applications that derive their source from nature and provide environmental, social and economic benefits such as green roof/wall/corridor, city parks, and river restoration. The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of how DÇ can contribute to building resilient cities. Different types of DTCs, the challenges and benefits of these solutions were discussed in the training, and examples of good practice were presented. The content of the training is based on the findings of the EU-funded Horizon 2020, Naturvation research project Urban Nature Atlas.
