 Final Preparations for Photography Exhibition at Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden!


Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF) faculty members and students made a second visit to Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden.


“There is Development in Nature!” The last event of the second phase of the social responsibility project was held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, between 08.30 and 14.00. The importance of raising awareness on environmental awareness and sustainable living was emphasized with the guided tour held in Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden (NGBB) between 19 October and 23 December 2022. To increase public knowledge about the importance and value of plants, which are the real and only guarantee of the continuation of life on Earth, to encourage scientific research and education about world plant life and Turkey's rich flora by creating well-documented collections, to promote biodiversity in the world, endemic, from the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema Five (5) students, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Res Asst. Merve Karadaban and Res. Asst. Okan Kırbacı from the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema participated in the project. The tour was guided by Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden Istanbul Plants Collection Manager, High Landscape Architect Nihan Sevinç Müşdan and NGBB Volunteers Coordinator Fatma Gülenç.

Last Frames Taken for the Photography Exhibition

During the event, the last photos were taken for the sustainability and environmental awareness exhibition planned to be opened in the Foyer Area of ​​Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall. IGU Faculty of Fine Arts Radio, Television and Cinema Department Res.  Asst. Okan Kırbacı supported the students during the photo shoot by sharing useful information about shooting techniques.
