A Significant Contribution from Assit. Prof. Dr. Hande Apak in the Fields of Biotechnology and Artificial Intelligence!
Assit. Prof. Dr. Hande Apak, a faculty member at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, has joined the BAP-Guided Research and Development Project conducted by Yıldız Technical University as a research partner.
This innovative project, titled “Artificial Intelligence-Supported Bio-Based Building Product Development Model Proposal,” aims to integrate sustainable building technologies with artificial intelligence applications to produce environmentally friendly and intelligent solutions for the construction industry. IGU’s contribution to the project is regarded as a strong indication of the university’s commitment to interdisciplinary R&D studies and its vision for a sustainable future.
Assit. Prof. Dr. Apak’s scientific involvement is considered a reflection of significant academic potential. The project outcomes are expected to lead to the development of innovative models in building product design processes and create an intersection between interior architecture and material technologies.
